Treasure #631

Your treasure may be found in deep, dark places. This is your daily message from Chad number 631 and this message is dedicated to

Yesterday we discussed how little of our little planet has been explored. The first layer of earth, the crust, that accounts for only 1% of the total mass is about 18 miles thick. Yet the deepest we’ve been able to drill into it is only about 7 1/2 miles. We’ve literally only scratched the surface.

We have to dig into the earth to extract the materials and elements used to advance civilization. Iron, aluminum, and gold must be mined. It is hard work, dangerous work, dank and dreary. Yet, it is necessary so people can enjoy the buildings, cars, and technology we use above ground.

So it is in our lives. Many riches and resources you enjoy will be found in metaphorical dark mines. The places and circumstances that have been most difficult, that most people never see, form character. You learn valuable lessons in these dark mines. It’s on the inside, down deep, you can extract treasure that can only be discovered under the surface.
